Great Souvlaki! Staff was not super interested in our English speaking group but we all managed regardless. Food was excellent. Didn't take non-german bank cards, so make sure you have euros

A successful combination of authentic Greek cuisine and traditional dishes in the heart of the Schwanthalerhöhe. The always freshly prepared and varied dishes give an idea that this restaurant is really in Greek hands. The calamari from the grill are particularly recommended. A bright and friendly ambience and always friendly wait staff have contributed to the fact that we have been coming here for years and that the "Ganghofer" has developed into our favorite restaurant in Munich.

It used to be our favorite Greek in the neighborhood because the food was consistently good. ? Hygiene concept that can be improved: waiter wears mask on chin, relatively close space between seats, no disinfectant, no contact recording.

Typical 'tourist' Greek restaurant not many choices of mezedes as well overpriced for what is offered. however it's nice to sit outside in Westend. they only reason they do get 3 stars

Good, solid, Greek home cooking. On the day menu also a few specialties that you would not find otherwise. Prices more than adequate.

We ordered two dishes over the phone to pick up. Only at home did it turn out that they gave us the wrong food. Instead of cheese noodles we got gyros with fries and salad. When picking up in the restaurant you were also not welcomed and there was not properly heard.

Opening time according to notice board 17:00 o'clock where we arrived we were told that the opening time at 17:30 clock without a face to forgive! When we came back we could order the same but we were not asked for drinks. We did not know whether it was the host without a waiter he was everywhere and in our opinion very listless. We ordered our drinks and our food that was good so far but the fries were the same in our opinion as the Aldi and the salad. The meat was very good so we probably will not go back to the whole impression. But this should not deter other visitors when paying please bring time takes a little longer even if not much is going on.

Down to earth Greek cuisine at moderate prices. Gyros and lamb kidneys tasted, both delicious and recommended. Interior could be a bit lighter and more inviting.

Ganghofer has been a Greek for 20 years. So that's where I'm going now. And it was worth it. The dishes were perfect. The lettuce was so crispy that I - shame on me - swallowed it straight away without taking a picture. Sorry Hence the photo with the empty plate. The ice cream with hot raspberries is good, so I'll make it a must on a future visit.

We visit this restaurant weekly. We are warmly welcomed. Typical Greek cuisine, as one might expect.
